As easy as they are quick to make, these prawn verrines will be unanimous for a fresh and colorful aperitif.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 1 grapefruit
- 12 prawns, cooked and peeled
- 4 strands of chive
For the cocktail sauce:
- 4 plain Swiss cookies,
- 1 lemon,
- 1 tbsp. mustard,
- 2 tbsp. ketchup,
- 1 pinch of Espelette pepper,
- 1 tbsp. a coffee of whiskey,
- Salt, freshly ground pepper
Gambas verrines recipe
Prepare the sauce:
In a salad bowl,
- Combine the small Swiss, lemon juice, mustard, ketchup, chilli and whiskey.
- Salt and pepper. Reserve.
Peel the grapefruit raw.
- Cut the grapefruit slices and diced prawns.
- In the verrines, place the diced grapefruit, the sauce and pieces of prawns.
- Finish with the chopped chives.
Place in the refrigerator at least 1 hour before tasting.
Serve chilled.
